Scott Robertson joins as Creative Advisor as Smart MFG prepares to launch Phigital 3D NFT Marketplace
May 27, 2022 — Smart MFG, which has been incubating Phigital, an innovative 3D NFT Marketplace, is delighted to have Scott Robertson join the team as Creative Advisor.
Smart MFG, already a game-changer leader in the blockchain supply chain industry, is now launching a unique 3D NFT Marketplace focused on building the open metaverse with interoperable 3D NFT assets, and enabling creators, industrial designers, and all makers to own, market, sell and authenticate their digital assets, and gamers to accelerate their play-to-earn opportunities; and bridge the digital-to-physical divide for 3D assets.
Scott Robertson is a world-renowned designer, author, and educator. After receiving a B.S. in Transportation Design from Art Center College of Design, his clients included Kestrel, Giro Sport Design, Nissan, Volvo, Yamaha, BMW subsidiary Design-works/USA, Bell Sports, Mattel, Hasbro, Patagonia, Nike, Microsoft, Universal Studios, Apple, and numerous other brand-name companies.
In 2002, Robertson founded Design Studio Press, a publishing company dedicated to art, design and education, now with over 100 titles released, including 13 he authored or co-authored. His books How to Draw and How to Render have sold over 200,000 copies combined.
Robertson taught industrial design at Art Center College of Design for 15 years, eventually creating their Entertainment Design department and serving as its Chair. He frequently lectures around the world for various corporations.
